The operating unit is maintenance−free if all operating conditions described in
these Instructions are observed. (¶ 61)
Clean the operating unit with denatured ethyl alcohol.

If you use any other cleaning agents, please observe the information

given in the table in chapter 9.1. (¶ 99)
8.1 Battery replacement
A device−internal battery renders it possible to keep recipe data and the

system time/date of the operating unit stored if the voltage supply is
switched off.
If the Battery" LED on the operating unit is lit, you have to replace the
ƒ
battery.
Data of the battery:

Lithium battery 3 V, Æ19 mm, type: CR2032

The battery is not included in the scope of supply.

Switch off the voltage supply before opening the housing!
The battery must be replaced within 30 minutes to avoid data
loss.
