Preparations:

switch off all gas appliances
!
close all gas-taps and the shut-off valve (or main shut-off
valve),
!
disconnect the gas-meter in accordance with the VBG 50
accident-prevention regulation,
!
secure the gas-meter and fit the tube connections with test
plugs and/or test caps.
