Adjustment and Starting Up – easyControls
Switching The threshold indicates when the next fan stage will be activated, e.g. set value 1000
steps: ppm, switching step 150 ppm. If the measured value is between 850-1000 ppm, stage
1 will be activated. If the VOC concentration increases to 1000-1150 ppm, the next
stage will be activated (stage 2).
Setting range between 50-400 ppm; step size 50 ppm
! Store sensor configuration settings by pressing "Save", otherwise data will be lost!
5.2 Initial start-up via KWL-BE (slide switch controller)
The following must be taken into account when initially starting up via KWL-BE!
When connecting a KWL-BE, only manual operation is possible. The sensors are disabled!
As soon as one of the following accessory components (KWL-EM, KWL-BEC, KWL-CO
KWL-FTF or KWL-KNX) is additionally connected, the unit must be initially started up via the comfort
controller KWL-BEC or the local web server. If only one KWL-BE is connected and the local web server is
not used, the initial start-up is completed by adjusting the operating stages.
5.2.1 Controller KWL-BE with operating display
The controller KWL-BE is delivered without factory settings!
The individual stages must be set! (see below)
All Helios KWL compact units with the easyControls control system can be controlled via the flush-
mounted slide switch controller KWL-BE (Ref. no. 4265; housing for flush-mounted installation KWL-APG,
Ref. no. 4270). It enables three manually definable operating stages, which can be adjusted via the
potentiometer on the circuit board (with Phillips screwdriver, Ø 3mm; Fig.1).
The airflow rate of the extract air fan can deviate in relation to the supply air fan in the range of ±20 % via
the potentiometer "OS".
TIP: Voltage metering:
The output voltage of the supply air fan in the set operating stage can be measured via GND and S.
5.2.2 Setting range of switching stages
