If you would like to check your set limit values, press
the MODE button. You can return to the results display
at any time by releasing the MODE button.
Pressing the START/STOP button allows you to start a
new measurement. Please ensure that the 5 minutes'
rest between two measurements is adhered to.
If you do not press any button, the instrument automa-
tically switches off after one minute.
Saving, retrieving and deleting results
• The results of each successful measurement are
stored together with date and time. With more than
30 items of measured data, the earliest items of data
measured are lost.
• In order to retrieve measurement results again, press
the MEMORY button. Using the buttons t ‚Down'
and ▲ ‚Up', select the required user memory and
press the MEMORY button. Initially, the average va-
lue of all stored results in this user memory is dis-
played (memory space display ‚A'). If you continue
pressing the MEMORY button, what are in each case
the last individual results in each case are displayed
with date and time. The average of all stored results
and also the stored individual results are compared
with the currently set Doctor's Function limit values
and graphically interpreted.
• By pressing the MODE button, you can call up your set
Doctor's Function limit values in order to compare.
• Note: If you change your limit values during the mea-
surement, this affects the interpretation of the results
already stored.
After pressing the memory button MEMORY and se-
lecting the user, you can clear the memory and the
Doctor's Function limits by holding down the MODE
and UP ▲ buttons for 5 seconds.

6. Error messages/troubleshooting

In case of faults, the ‚

Error messages can occur when
1. inflation pressure is higher than 300 mmHg
2. blood pressure is unusually high or low
3. you move or talk during the measurement (in addition
to ‚
', the cardiac arrhythmia icon
in the display)
4. the cuff tube is not inserted properly
5. the cuff is inflated for longer than 16 seconds
In the above cases, you must repeat the measurement.
Make sure that the cuff tube is properly inserted and
that you do not move or talk. Re-insert the batteries if
necessary, or else replace them.

7. Cleaning and Care

• Clean your blood pressure computer carefully using
only a slightly moistened cloth.
• Do not use any detergents or solvents.
• Never hold the instrument under water as otherwise
liquid can penetrate and damage the instrument.
• Never place any heavy objects on the instrument.
