Die Polster können in lauwarmem Wasser mit handelsüblichem Feinwaschmittel von Hand gewa-
schen werden. Gut ausspülen. An der Luft trocknen lassen. Beim Trocknen direkte Hitzeeinwirkung
(Sonnenbestrahlung, Ofen- und Heizkörperhitze) vermeiden.
8 Nutzungseinschränkungen
Die 8060/ 8062 Genu Immobil ist für den Einsatz an einem Patienten konzipiert. Die tägliche
Tragedauer und der Anwendungszeitraum richten sich nach der medizinischen Indikation. Diese
Orthese ist nur für den Kontakt mit intakter Haut bestimmt.
9 Haftung
Der Hersteller haftet nur, wenn das Produkt unter den vorgegebenen Bedingungen und zu den
vorgegebenen Zwecken eingesetzt wird. Der Hersteller empfiehlt, das Produkt sachgemäß zu
handhaben und entsprechend der Anleitung zu pflegen.
10 CE-Konformität
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der Richtlinie 93 / 42 / EWG für Medizinprodukte. Aufgrund
der Klassifizierungskriterien für Medizinprodukte nach Anhang IX der Richtlinie wurde das Produkt
in die Klasse I eingestuft. Die Konformitätserklärung wurde deshalb von Ottobock in alleiniger
Verantwortung gemäß Anhang VII der Richtlinie erstellt.

1 Application
The 8060/8062Genu Immobil Knee Orthosis is to be used solely for lower limb orthotic fittings.
2 Indications and Effects
Following muscle or ligament injuries, after knee joint operations, pre-operative pain conditions,
conditions following patella luxations. Specific indications must be determined by the physician.
The orthosis is used to immobilize the knee and hold it in 0° position (8060) or 20° position (8062).

2.1 Contraindications

2.1.1 Absolute Contraindications
None.
2.1.2 Relative Contraindications
In case of the following indications, consultation with a physician is required: Skin diseases/inju-
ries, inflammatory symptoms, prominent scars on body parts to which the support is to be applied
that are swollen, reddened and feel excessively warm; lymphatic flow disorders, including unclear
soft tissue swelling distant to the body area to which the support is to be applied; sensory and
circulatory disorders of the leg.
