ELECTRICAL SUPPLY

WARNING
These appliances must be earthed. Failure to do so may result in electric shock and death.
Microcook TA1725
All UK models are supplied with a fitted and approved 13Amp
moulded plug. We strongly recommend that this plug is never
removed. However, certain establishments may require a
different plug to be fitted. In this case, the wiring instructions in
the diagram should be observed. In order to enable isolation of
this appliance, the 13Amp plug must be positioned where it is
easily accessible.
Microcook TA1925XE
is NOT suitable for connection by means of a 13 amp plug and must be
connected to a separate mains supply by a qualified and approved electrician.
A suitable rated isolating switch with at least a 3.0mm contact gap on each pole should be fitted for each
oven installed. The installation wiring (hard wired or socket fitting) must be in accordance with current
IEE regulations and safety standards.
Single-Phase single lead 240V supply (30amps)
The mains electricity lead is located at the rear of the oven.
A pre-fitted 240V 32A single-phase plug to ISO309/ BS4343 is supplied to suit a 32A 240V wall socket.
Circuit breaker should be rated at 45A(Type C)
Microcook TA1925EE
is designed to be connection by means of 2 x 13 amp plug and must be
connected to the mains supply by a double output socket or 2 single output sockets.
NOTE. Both plugs must be connected.
And must not be connected by extension leads.
2 x Single-Phase single lead 240V (2 x 13AMPS)
The mains electricity leads is located at the rear of the oven.
A pre-fitted 240V 13A single-phase plug to BS1363 is supplied to each lead, to suit a 13A 240V wall socket.
Circuit breaker should be rated at 30A(Type C)
INSTALLATION NOTE:
The oven must be installed by a qualified and approved electrician. The installation wiring (hard wired or socket
fitting ) must be in accordance with current IEE regulations and safety standards.
Establishments with standard (Type B) circuit breakers are sensitive to surges which occur on switching on
freezers, refrigerators and other catering equipment, including microwave ovens. Because of this, a (Type C )
circuit breaker (designed specifically for this type of equipment) must be fitted. An individual, suitably rated circuit
breaker should be fitted for each oven installed.
It is essential that the mains supply is properly installed and earthed. It should be fed from a circuit which is suitable
for very high power electrical appliances and it is important that this circuit is not overloaded.
If you are in doubt about your electrical supply, seek the advice of a qualified electrician.
