Energy saving mode
If not used for 30 minutes, the device goes to
standby. Press the HOLD/LIGHT button or turn
the function button and the device powers
back on. To turn off standby mode, press the
SELECT button until the device turns on.
REL button: Press the button for relative
measurement mode until you hear a beep.
The device will remember the data on the
screen (this is the starting value). Measure
with the device. The result displayed will be
the difference between the current value and
the starting value. With a longer press of the
button (> 2 sec) you can return to normal mode.
This function does not work when measuring
frequencies.

Voltage measuring
Thresholds: 600mV, 6V, 60V, 600V, 1000V (AC
600mV only with manual threshold).
Turn the function button to DCV, ACV or DCmV
mode.
Connect the black wire to the „COM"
connector, and the red one to the V connector.
Connect the other end of the wires to the
subject circuit or source.
Read the displayed value. The polarity of the
red wire will be displayed on the screen (only
the negative).
WARNING: To avoid electric shock and device damage,
never exceed the values 1000V DC or 1000V AC!
Resistance measuring
Turn the function button to Ω
Connect the black wire to the „COM"
connector, and the red one to the VΩ
connector.
Connect the wires to the end points of the
resistor.
Read the displayed value on the screen.
Olvassa le a mért értéket a kijelzőről.
Note: The device needs a few seconds for
stable results in the threshold of 60MΩ
If the measured circuit is not closed the OL
sign is displayed on the screen.
WARNING: To avoid electric shock or device damage
always disconnect the subject circuit from the power
source and discharge the high capacity capacitors!
Continuity measuring
Turn the selection button to Ω
Press the „SELECT" button twice to switch to
mode.
Connect the black wire to the „COM" and the
red one to the „Ω" connector.
Connect the wires to the subject circuit. If
the resistance between the two end points is
lower than 50Ω, the device will beep.
Note: continuity test is also good for
determining if a circuit is open/closed.
WARNING: To avoid electric shock or device damage
always disconnect the subject circuit from the power
source and discharge the high capacity capacitors!
Diode measuring
Turn the switch to Ω
Press the „SELECT" button once to switch to
mode
Connect the black wire to the „COM" and the
red one to the „VΩ" connector.
Place the red wire to the anode of the diode
and the black one to the cathode.
The opening voltage of the diode will be
displayed. If the polarity was accidentaly
switched, the „OL" icon will be lit.
WARNING: To avoid electric shock or device damage
always disconnect the subject circuit from the power
source and discharge the high capacity capacitors!
Capacity measuring
Measuring thresholds: 60nF, 600nF, 6µF, 60µF
and 300µF.
Turn the function selection button to
mode.
Connect the black wire to the „COM" and the
red one to the „
Connect the other ends to the subject
position.
capacitor and read the value on the screen.
WARNING: To avoid electric shock or device damage
always disconnect the subject circuit from the power
source and discharge the high capacity capacitors!
Note: The device needs a few seconds (30 seconds at 200µF)
for stable results. To get a precise result under 50nF subtract
the capacity between the device and the measuring wires
from the result.
Frequency and space vector measuring
Make a measurement for AC voltage or power
with the device
Press the Hz/DUTY button and read the AC
frequency on the screen.
To measure the space vector press the Hz/
