When measuring above 6A make sure to measure only
for 4 minutes and turn off the device for 10 minutes
before measuring again.
M
aintenance
Clean the device regularly with a wet cloth. The
use of water with gentle detergent is permitted,
but do not use strong detergents, solvents! Dirt
on the connectors may influence measuring
results.
Turn off the device and remove the connecting
•
wires.
Shake the device to remove possible dirt from
•
the connectors.
Dip a cotton stab into some contact liquid (e.g.
•
WD-40).
Wipe the connectors and their near area.
•
WARNING: To avoid electric shock do not let water get
inside the device!
Replacing the fuse
Turn off the device (OFF mode).
•
Remove the wires from the connectors.
•
Remove the 2 screws on the back of the device
•
with a screwdriver and another 2 beneath the
battery holder lid.
Remove the back panel.
•
Replace the blown fuse with another one: F
•
10/600V Ø6x30F 500mA/250V Ø5x20
Replace the back panel and screw in the screws.
•
WARNING: Before replacing the fuse, remove all wires from
the device! Only use proper size and type fuses!
Battery replacement
If the battery voltage drops below the normal
•
operation level, a small battery sign will be lit
on the display indicating the need for a battery
replacement.
Turn off the device.
•
Remove the wires.
•
Remove the battery lid top screws and the lid.
•
Replace the battery to a single 9V 6F22 battery.
•
Replace the battery lid.
•
WARNING: In case of battery replacement remove all wires
from the device and the subject circuit as well!
