This multimeter complies to the IEC1010-1
(61010-1 IEC: 2001) standard, II. (1000V) and it is
a class III. (600V) contact protection electronic
measuring device. Please follow the instructions
and safety measures to ensure proper
functioning and satisfactory conditions.
The compliance to the safety standard is only
guaranteed when the measuring wires are in
perfect condition. If they are not, please replace
them immediately!

The user must keep the following safety
regulations when operating the device:
Protect yourself from electronic shock!
Protect the device from damage resulting from
improper use!
Before using the supplied accessories (wires,
capsule) make sure they are in proper condition!
In use
If you are using the the device near another
device that generates interference, you need
to consider the fact that the device can show
faulty results or nothing at all.
Never use faulty wires!
Only use the device for functions described
in the user manual! Using the device for
improper tasks does not guarantee continued
proper functioning.
Never use the device near explosive or
flammable gases or powder!
Before measuring, make sure the device is
in proper measuring position and that the
measuring wires are connecting properly. Do
this before every measuring!
If the measuring result is unknown, always
start measuring in the highest threshold range
and move backwards from that.
To protect the device, never exceed the
maximal inward values!
Be careful when measuring over 60V DC or 30V
AC! These voltages may cause electric shock.
When using a measuring probe, make sure
that your fingers are not touching the metal
surface and are behind the finger-protection
at all times.
When switching between the measuring
modes or levels remove the measuring wires
from the vicinity of the measured object or
circuit.
When measuring resistance, continuity or
diodes make sure that the device is not
connected to a circuit under power, or all high
capacity capacitors are discharged.
Before measuring current power, make
sure the device is not under power before
connecting it to the circuit.
If the ‚low battery' icon is lit on the display,
replace the batteries.

the manual:

Always remove the measuring wires from the
circuit and the device before opening the
device
If you experience any abnormal phenomena
during the operation of the device, stop
measuring and turn off the device.
If the device is not being used for a long
time, take out the batteries and make sure
not to store the device in a place with high
temperatures or humidity.
To avoid fire and other damage the fuse
should be replaced to one with the exact same
parameters: F 500mA/250V, F 10A/600V.
Do not use the device if the battery cover on
the back side is removed or not in its proper
place!
