7.4.3 Reset function & Restore factory settings function:
The "Reset repeater" function allows you to restart the repeater without deleting the current set-
tings. The "Restore factory settings" function allows you to reset the repeater to the default state
if the repeater is not responding as required.
Reset repeater:
If, at some point, the repeater ceases to function as required, you can reset the device without
losing the current settings by clicking Apply.
Explanation
► Using the "Reset repeater" function is similar to pressing the reset button on your
PC or holding the off button on your notebook when the operating system freezes.
The current settings are reloaded after the restart.
Restore factory settings:
You should only use this function if you are selling the repeater to someone else or if the current
settings are faulty. If you click the Reset button, the current settings are deleted and the repeater
is reset to the default state.
Warning
► If you reset the device, all current settings are deleted and the factory settings are
restored.
