7.4.2 Update firmware function:

Hama offers online firmware updates that correct errors not known at the time of manufacture or
that offer additional functions. You can find these updates at www.hama.com on the particular
product page under the Downloads tab. If you encounter an error, do not hesitate to contact our
Support department (see section 10 Service and Support). The Support department will attempt
to find a solution as quickly as possible.
► We recommend backing up your settings before updating the firmware. It is
• If a newer firmware version is available on our homepage, download it to your PC or notebook
and unpack this file to a directory of your choice.
• Then start your repeater's configuration program (see section 6.2 in this manual) and open the
function Tool  Update firmware.
• Click the Browse button and select the unpacked file.
• Click Apply. The update is carried out, and a message is displayed when the process is complete.
► Do not switch off or unplug the repeater or your PC/notebook during the update
► Restart the repeater to apply the update.
