4.6 REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ADJUSTMENT

The rear shock absorbers can be adjusted on the preloading
of the spring, through which it is possible to adapt the scooter
roadability according to the load, the driving and the type of
road.

The adjustment is carried out using the special spanner on
the ring (A – Fig. 31). If you turn it clockwise, the spring power
will be increased.
There are three adjustment positions:
1) STD – rider only – minimum load – uneven roads – etc.
2) Average – Variable load – Various kind of roads – etc.
3) Hard – With a passenger – Maximum loads – etc.
IMPORTANT: adjust both shock absorbers according to
the same adjustment index. An unbalanced adjustment
may jeopardize the vehicle stability.

While riding with a passenger, preload the shock
absorber spring at position '3'.
4.7 HANDLEBAR ADJUSTMENT
•
It is possible to adjust the handlebar position according to
rider's size (Fig. 32).
Carry out this operation by a Malaguti Authorised
Repairshop.
