Connecting the equipment

Only use the supplied mains adaptor with this unit.
However, the device can also be connected to other input and output devices in many different ways:
• to a television device
• to a video recorder
• to a receiver, e. g. a stereo system
Make sure that all devices are switched off before you connect them. Do not connect the devices to
the mains until the other connections have been made

Mains connection

You must make the other device connections first, before connecting the DVD player to the mains

Connection with mains adaptor

1. Insert the device plug of the supplied mains adaptor
into the device connection socket DC IN 12 V
on the side of the device.
2. Push the mains plug into the socket

Connection with car adaptor

1. Insert the device plug of the supplied car adaptor into the device connection socket DC IN 12
V
on the side of the device.
2. Connect the car adaptor with the cigarette lighter socket in your car or another suitable 12 V
board socket.

Battery operation

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the DVD player.
2. Place 6 type Mignon/LR6/AA (alkaline) or 6 NiMH batteries type AA/HR6 according to the
information in the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment until the cover locks audibly.
Batteries with a power of at least 2300 mAh are recommended to achieve the highest possible
performance
.
Please note: rechargeable batteries cannot be recharged within the player. A seperate charger will
be required (not supplied).
