IMPORTANT:
The fixed optic cannot be adjusted. The distances mentioned must be respected absolutely in order to
ensure the small measuring field.
5.2.3 Setting the vario fiber optics
Adjust the vario fiber optics as follows:
1. If necessary switch on the pilot light.
2. Loosen the ring nut by turning it in a counter-clockwise direction.
3. Hold the screw connector of the optical fiber and turn the housing until length L has been reached,
for the correspondingly measuring distance. Mentioned distances in the data sheet are essential to be
maintained.
4. After adjusting the measuring distance, lock the ring nut by turning it in a clockwise direction.
The vario optics is adjusted to the required measuring distance.
