First Start-Up

Once all installation work, filling and venting of all hy-
draulic systems is completed, and the pellet hopper is
filled, you can start the boiler for the first time.
IMPORTANT
The first start-up must be carried out by an authorized
installer or service technician. If you start the boiler
yourself for the first time, the boiler warranty will be null
and void.
IMPORTANT
During the first start-up, the user must be verbally
trained in operation and maintaining the boiler by an
authorized installer.

Filling the Feeder with Pellets

Before starting the boiler for the first time, fill the pellet
feeder with fuel. Remember to always fill the feeder
tube with pellets before each boiler start-up. To fill the
feeder with pellets, follow the instructions below:
1. Fill the hopper with a minimum of 30-50kg of pel-
EN
lets.
2. Remove the corrugated hose from the burner
feed tube.
3. Place the pellet hopper at the corrugated hose
outlet.
4. Connect the feeder to the power supply. The to-
tal filling time of the feeder tube is 10-30 minutes
(depending on the feeder model).
5. When the pellets begin to fall freely into the hop-
per, leave the feeder running for approx. 2 min-
utes for optimum filling.
6. After filling the feeder tube, carry out a pellet
weight test.
7. Once the pellet test is completed, replace the
power plug into the burner socket and attach the
corrugated hose to the burner feed tube (fixing it
with the hose clamp).

Pellet Weight Test

In order to carry out the pellet weight test, let the
pellets fall freely into the container. We carry out the
weighing test after filling the feed tube in advance, as
described below:
1. Connect the feeder to the mains socket and start
the countdown up to 10 minutes at the same time.
2. During the operation of the feeder, pellets must
fall directly into an empty pellet container (e.g. a
bucket).
3. Disconnect the feeder from the mains socket after
10 minutes of pellet feeding.
4. Weigh the pellets in the container and record the
result
5. Repeat the weight test 3 times. Average the ob-
tained results, and then, multiply it by six to de-
10

Boiler Start-Up

In order to start-up the boiler, follow the instructions
below:
1. Press the Power switch on the right side of the
controller
2. The controller switches ON automatically when
the power is switched ON
3. In order to start the boiler, touch the
on the screen and then move the boiler ON/OFF
slider.
4. A two-stage process of cleaning the grate in the
burner and exchanger in the boiler takes place
before starting the burner. The control panel dis-
play shows the CLEANING status. When the
grate is cleaned, the exchanger is also cleaned
5. Once the clearing is completed, the ignition pro-
cess:
A
The operator panel shows the FIRING UP
status.
B. The pellets are fed to the burner for a speci-
fied time (80sec by default, editable).
C. The igniter is activated.
D. The igniter switches off automatically once
the photocell detects the flame.
E. The control panel screen displays the IN-
CANDESCENCE status. The procedure
takes about 4 minutes, during which the
speed of the blow fan increases gradually.
F. After completing the FIRING UP procedure,
the boiler switches to the preset program.
CAUTION
The standard lighting process can last for approx. 9
minutes. If during this time, the photocell does not de-
tect the flame, the igniter will try the process again 5
times. If, after five attempts, the flame is still not reg-
istered, the alarm procedure is initiated (No. 140 – No
flame or fuel), and the ignition process is interrupted.

Boiler Shutdown

In order to stop the boiler operation, proceed as follows:
1. Touch and hold the
seconds.
2. The control panel display shows the
GUISHING status.
3. The pellet feeder stops.
4. Burner blower operates until no flame is detected.
IMPORTANT
Depending on the previous state, the burner can still
operate (extinguishing) after switching off the control-
ler. This condition should not be interrupted. If the de-
vice is to be disconnected from the mains, wait until
the extinguishing process is complete and the burner
status changes to TURNED OFF.
