switch a is in the off "O" position.
2 Insert the beaters or kneaders 1 –
turn and push until a positive click
is felt.
Important: The kneader with the
additional collar e will only fit into
the larger socket.
3 Plug in.
4 With the ingredients in a bowl of
an appropriate size, place the
beaters/kneaders into the bowl.
5 Pull the speed switch a
backwards to reach the desired
speed (the first dot on the
handmixer body is the slowest
speed setting). Line up the dot on
the side of the speed switch with
the corresponding speed.
As the mixture thickens, increase
l
the speed.
If the machine starts to slow or

the speed switch a to the off "O"
position and then lift the beaters/
kneaders out of the bowl.
7 To remove the tools, make sure
the speed switch a is in the
off "O" position and unplug the
handmixer. Press the tool release
button b. Hold onto the tool
shafts when ejecting the tools.
Important:
kneaders only - when making
l
bread dough we recommend that
the dough load does not exceed
450g flour.
To protect your handmixer, do not
l
use it for longer than 3 minutes in
any 5 minute period with doughs,
heavy cake mixtures, etc. Switch
it off as soon as you have got the
right consistency.
hints
When creaming for cake mixtures,
l
use butter or margarine at room
temperature or soften before use.
To avoid overloading your mixing
l
bowl, select one of an appropriate
size.
Large quantities and thick mixtures
l
may require a longer mixing time.
When whipping cream, use of a
l
high-sided bowl is recommended
to minimise splashing.
