Status of the quick guide
In order to maintain a high level of quality and user satisfaction, BMW constantly improves the Wallbox
Pro. In rare cases, this may cause slight deviations between the descriptions in this document and your
Wallbox Pro.

Intended use

The Wallbox Pro is intended to be used for charging high-voltage batteries of BMW electric and plug-
in hybrid vehicles.
Hazard of electric shock, short circuit or overheating!
Electrical fault due to vehicles from other manufacturers!
Before charging vehicles from other manufacturers, trained and qualified personnel must
always check the electrical installation to insure that it meets the specifications/requirements of
the vehicle being charged.

Never use the Wallbox Pro to supply equipment with electric power!
Only use undamaged cables and plugs that have been approved by BMW.
Hazard of overloading!
Do not use the Wallbox Pro for continuous commercial operation!
Only use the Wallbox Pro for normal charging processes in domestic use.
Hazard of electric shock, short circuit or overheating!
The Wallbox Pro must only be installed and serviced by qualified personnel!
Only qualified personnel, e.g. the BMW i Wallbox Installation Service have the necessary skills
and knowledge related to the design, installation, maintenance, and operation of electrical
equipment, and they have also been trained to deal with electrical hazards.
Warranty
BMW Service can inform you about the corresponding warranty conditions. The Wallbox Pro must
always be installed and operated for its intended use in accordance with the manner described in the
installation instructions and owner's manual.
