Note
As in the as-delivered / de-energized
status, the contact position of the
bistable relay (contact S1/S1) cannot
be defined, the bus supply to the
device must be connected before-
hand to ensure that the bistable
relay functions correctly.
Video memory
(without SD card)
The device's video memory is only
active when the bus telephone has
a supplementary power supply. It
stores the last 28 pictures taken by
the door camera. In the event of a
power failure, the video memory is
deleted.
Setting the language, date and
time
After first switching on the monitor,
the language must be selected. The
display then changes over to the
input of date and time.
Assigning the monitor buttons
The monitor is operated using a
5-way button. The Enter key is used
to switch on the monitor or confirm
a selected function. The control but-
tons are used for navigation within
the different menu levels.

Depending on the monitor display,
the control buttons can be assigned
with different functions.
SD card
At the top of the unit, an additional
SD card can be inserted. Cards
ranging in size from 32 MB to 32 GB
can be used, with capacity for
storing between 25 and over 20000
images depending on the size. One
image requires around 1,2 MB of
storage space. The images are saved
in *.tif format with a resolution of
720 x 576 Pixel.When the card's
memory is full, the oldest image
is always overwritten. If the card

is inserted, the SD card symbol is
shown in the upper line.
The bus telephone should be used
to format the SD card; If you wish
to format at the PC, the FAT 16/32
format should be used.
Similar to photographs, saved
images are subject to copyright.
Disposal

with sticky tape or other insulating
material to ensure they do not
come into direct contact with other
objects. Direct contact with other
metal objects in waste containers
can result in fire and explosions.
