10 Battery Charge Level/Low Battery Indication
The BATTERY CHARGE LEVEL is indicated by the number of squares present inside the
BATTERY icon on the LCD Screen.
When the BATTERY CHARGE LEVEL is low, the BATTERY icon will flash and you will hear
a beep tone. After that, the device will switch off. This indicate that the batteries need to be
replaced or recharged.

Do not short-circuit & dispose of in fire.

Remove the batteries if this device is not going to be used for a long period.
11 Recharging batteries
The PMR can be used with 4 alkaline or rechargeable NiMh (AAA) batteries (included).
NOTE!
•
Do not charge this unit when regular "AAA" alkaline batteries are installed as they
may leak or explode.
•
Only use the included AC/DC ADAPTER with the enclosed rechargeable batteries.
•
Using another adaptor will result in non-compliancy the safety regulation and will
invalidate any approval/warranty for this product.
When using rechargeable batteries you can use the enclosed adapter (7,5V= / 200mA) or
the car charger to charge.
NOTE!
When batteries were completely discharged and when you disconnect the device from the
charger after a short time charging, the battery indicator will show a fully charged battery
icon (see chapter 10). A correct indication will only be shown when discharging during use.
Pay attention that the batteries are charged long enough.
11.1 Power adapter connection
NOTE!
•
It takes approximately 7 to 10 hours to fully charge the batteries.
•
If you need to use the product for a long period, for example when making long trips,
it is advised to take extra batteries along if there is no charging possibility.
