Intended purpose

This device can be used to have wireless communication between two or more motorcyclists.
The motor headset allows to speak handsfree while riding. It is intended to be used during
private leisure, for example, to communicate during day trips or touring.
This device is not intended to be used for professional purposes.
The device is only allowed to be used under the described safety instructions.

CE Mark

The CE symbol on the unit, user guide and gift box indicates that the unit complies with the
essential requirements of the R&TTE directive 1995/5/EC (Radio and Telecommunications
Terminal Equipment). The CE declaration is retained by the manufacturer.

Safety instructions

3.1

General

Please read carefully through the following information concerning safety and proper use.
Follow the next safety instructions. Make yourself familiar with all functions of the device.
Keep this manual on a safe place for future use, so the information can be consulted in case
there are questions or problems.
3.2

Burning injuries

DANGER!
• Do not touch the antenna when the cover of the antenna is damaged. When a bare
antenna comes in contact with the skin, a minor burn may result when transmitting.

Personal safety

DANGER!
• When used in a car: Do not place your device in the area over an air bag or in the air bag
deployment area. Air bags inflate with great force. If a communicator is placed in the air
bag deployment area and the air bag inflates, the communicator may be propelled with
great force and cause serious injury to the occupants of the vehicle.
• Keep the radio at least 15 centimeters away from a pacemaker.
• Turn your radio OFF if you are near to medical equipment. This will avoid malfunctions
due to interference with the equipment. Interference can disturb sensitive medical
equipment.
• Install the cables from the headset and the PTT- remote control button so that they does
not influence your freedom of movement.
• The cables may not be loose connected, because the danger exists that they will get
caught up by obstacles.
• When you detect, during riding, that the headset, transmitter or PTT remote control
button or the cable are not well positioned, you have to stop to adjust the position.
Adjusting the parts while driving brings you and other road users in danger.
