6. Calibration
Calibration is made electronically as follows and
irrespecitive of mounting:
• Approach a mechanically defined position (eg.
end of travel or machine's zero position ...).
• Unless AP03/1 has already been pre-programmed
at the factory, then enter the value (calibration
value) which corresponds to this position (see
chapter 7).
• Use a SW 2 hex key to unscrew the frontal
calibration screw up to its limit; then retighten the
screw (this is activating an internal switch which in
turn triggers calibration - fig. 1).
Important information: The available regulation
range is achieved symmetrically in both directions
of rotation. Example: AP 03/1 with 12 bit (4096)
turns, - for both directions 11 bit (2048) turns are
available
