Overview of supply plates and exhaust modules
Supply plates make it possible to vary the channeling, separation, or supply of
compressed air in the valve system. Supply plates can be used, for example, as
separation and supply plates when operating with multiple pressure zones. With a
corresponding exhaust module, the exhaust air can be evacuated via a surface
silencer or the tubing connections 3 and 5.
A Supply plate for pressure supply to channel 1, internal pilot air
B Supply plate for pressure supply to channel 1, external pilot control
C Exhaust module with surface silencer for 3/5 and R
D Exhaust module with restricted exhaust 3/5
E Exhaust module with separate restricted exhaust for 3 and 5

Base plates, 2x, base plates, 3x
Base plates have two or three slots for valves or functional elements. Only double
base plates are available for the AV-BP series.

Base plate marking
Base plates are available in two versions:
For single solenoid valves:
Only single solenoid valves can be operated.
If a double solenoid valve is mounted, only solenoid 14 can be used.
For double solenoid valves:
Single and double solenoid valves can be operated.
Base plates for single solenoid valves have a marking on the back side.
Base plates for double solenoid valves do not have any marking.
Valves
The valves direct the air to the pneumatic drives. The connection is made via the
valve's base plate.
2x 3/2 directional valves (2 independent valves in one housing)
5/2 and 5/3-directional valves
Overview of directional valve (A) and blanking plate (B)
1 Manual override:
– Yellow control button: press and turn
– Red control button: press without detent
2 LED (yellow): An illuminated LED indicates that the assigned solenoid coil is
energized.
In valves with two solenoids, the solenoids are correspondingly labeled "12" and
"14".
3 Mounting screw: oval-head screw M2.5, Torx T8 acc. to ISO 10664

Assembly
Danger of injury if assembled under pressure or voltage!
Assembling when under pressure or electrical voltage can lead to injuries and
damage to the product or system components.
Make sure that the relevant system part is not under voltage or pressure
before you assemble the product.
Protect the system against being restarted.
Damage to the valve system due to improper handling
When removing the valve system from its packaging, the valve system can be
damaged due to bending, especially with long devices.
Carefully remove the valve system packaging and provide safeguards against
torsion and bending.
Mounting options
The following options exist for mounting the valve system, see figures
