SIGNAL LED / PEAK LED
Signal (green) shows the presence of any input signal
(>20dBu). Peak (red) shows an overload condition (distortion).
In this case, check the GAIN setting and the setting of the
channel EQ.
PFL (momentary switch per input channel )
Sends the channel signal to the PFL level indicator and to the
built-in stereo headphone amplifier output socket.
Normally, the PFL indicator will read approx. 0dB. Extremely
high output levels will cause audible distortion (clipping). Check
all input channels by pressing the PFL button and by reading
PFL indicator. Correct TRIM control setting if necessary.
FADER (Channel Fader)
The slide potentiometer works in conjuction with the TRIM
Control to adjust the gain for that input channel (mic & line
inputs). Depending on the signal present, the normal operating
position will be at the '0' mark. (Max headroom = +6dBu)
