9 . TROUBLESHOOTING

Poor flow rate

Poor pressure
●
The pump starts and stops too frequently
●
Excessive current absorbed by the electro-pump
Possible causes related to the pump
(Motor and panel excluded)
█ █ █ Well water level too low
█ █ Suction screen clogged
█ █ Delivery valve closed or blocked
█ █ Pump silted up
█ █ █ Wrong direction of rotation
█ █ Pump capacity exceeds well capacity
█ Leaks in the system
█ Worn pump
█ Pressure switch or level control improperly set
█ Tank too small
█ Mechanical friction

Solution
Wait until well water level is restored, or if
possible, lower the pump further
Pull out the assembly and clean it
Find and replace the defective valve
Pull out the assembly and clean it
Carry out instructions as in 4.2
Replace pump with one of lower capacity
Locate leaks and repair them
Pull out the assembly and overhaul it
Adjust setting
Replace tank with a larger one
Pull out the pump and overhaul it
