2.21 Prüfen (siehe Abb. 5)
Gerät ausschalten und eine, mit einem ca. 50
cm langen Band bewickelte
(Kerndurchmesser 45 mm) auflegen. Durch
Abziehen in Pfeilrichtung ist zu prüfen ab die
Kupplungsoberteile merklich
werden. Diese Prüfung ist bei beiden Kupp-
lungen vorzunehmen.
2.22 Einstellen (siehe Abb. 6)
Die Bremshebelarme (A) und (B) dürfen in
Stellung „Stop" nicht am
anliegen. In Stellung "Vorlauf" und Rücklauf"
muß mittels der Bremshebelarme (A) und (B)
ein Abstand von ca. 2 mm zwischen Brems-
rolle (D) und Kupplungsoberteil (E) eingestellt
werden. In Stellung "Start" wird über den
Hebel (F) der Schieber (C) betätigt, der
wiederum die Bremsrollen abhebt.
Die Einstellung erfolgt durch Biegen des
Hebels (F) und ist so vorzunehmen, daß bei
dem langsamen Drücken der Taste „Start"
folgende Reihenfolge eingehalten wird:
Zuerst muß die Bremsrolle vom Kupplungs-
oberteil abheben und anschließend die An-
druckrolle das Band gegen die Tonwelle
drücken.
2.21 Checking the Brakes (see Fig. 5)
Switch off the recorder and place an the
Bandspule turntable a reel with a hub diameter of 45 mm
(approx. 1.8') an which about 20' of taps are

turntable drum is perceptibly braked. Both
clutches must be checked in this manner.
222 Adjustment (see Fig. 6)
In the "Stop"-position the brake lever arms (A)
Schieber (C)
and (B) must not be in contact with the sliding
member (C). In either the fast forward or the
rewind position, a clearance of approximately
2 mm (0.08") between the braking roller (D)
and the turntable drum (E) must be adjusted
by means of the brake lever arms (A) and (B).
When the start key is depressed, the lever (F)
actuates the sliding member (C), which in turn
lifts the braking rol lers.
Any necessary adjustment is made by bend-
ing the lever (F) in such a manner that, when
the start key is slowly depressed, the following
Parts will react in the following order:
First the braking roller must be lifted from the
turntable drum and then the Pressure roller
must press the magnetic tape against the
capstan.

Däconnecter le magnetophone, puls deposer
sur un des embrayages uns bobine garnis
d'une longueur de bande d'environ 50 cm
(diametre du neygw 48 mm), Tirwr in band*
dans le sens de la fläche et vérifler si la pertie
superieure de I'embrayage est soumise ä un
freinage suffisant. Proceder ä ce contr81e
pour les deux embrayages.
2.22 Rbglage (voir fig. 6)
Lorsque la touche -Stop- est enfoncee, les
leviers de frein (A) et (B) ne doivent,pas re-
poser sur le curseur (C). En pos,uon -Defile-
ment accelere en avant• et •Defilement ac-
celere en arriäre•, ajuster les leviers de frein
(A) et (B) de telle fapon qu'un ecart de 2 mm
env. existe entre le galet (D) et la Partie su-
perieure d'embrayage (E). En regime «Start»,
le levier (F) actionne Je curseur (C) qui sou-
läve les galets de freinage (D).
Le räglage s'effectue par le cambrage du
levier (F). Enfoncer ensuite lentement la
touche -Start- et verifier si les organes sont
actionnes dans fordre de suite correct.
Le galet de freinage doit d'abord se degager
de la Partie superieure de I'embrayage, puis
la bande magnetique est appliquee contre le
cabestan par le galet de pression.
