6 Maintenance
CAUTION

If the wrong cleaning agent is used, the machine could be damaged
and/or traces of detergent could be left behind in the water.
T Only use original JURA care products.
E The cleaning programme only lasts about 22 minutes.
E Do not interrupt the cleaning programme. The quality of
cleaning will be impaired if you do so.
E JURA cleaning tablets and the JURA Cappuccino Cleaner are
available from stockists.
Precondition: Your IMPRESSA is ready for operation, the message
R is shown on the display.
T Open the cover of the programming buttons.
8 T Press the combined cleaning button.
The current maintenance status is shown.
8 T Press the combined cleaning button again.
START COMBINED CLEANING
8 T Press the combined cleaning button to start the cleaning
operation.
EMPTY DRIP TRAY
T Empty the drip tray.
EMPTY COFFEE GROUNDS CONT.
T Empty the coffee grounds container.
T Replace the coffee grounds container and the drip tray.
CLEANER FOR MILK SYSTEM CLEANING
T Fill a receptacle with 400 ml water and add 1 1/2 caps of the
JURA Cappuccino Cleaner.
T Immerse both milk pipes completely in the cleaning solu-
tion.
T Place a receptacle (at least 500 ml) under the dual spout.
6 T Press the milk system cleaning button.
MACHINE IS CLEANING. You can follow the current status of
combined cleaning on the progress bar.
The operation is interrupted, ADD TABLET.
