3. Replacement
Before removing the terminal box cover,
make sure that the electricity supply has
been switched off and that it cannot be ac-
cidentally switched on.
3.1 Single-head pumps
1. Switch off the electricity supply to the pump by
means of the external mains switch. The green
indicator light on the terminal box must be off.
2. Remove the terminal box cover.
3. Remove all wires from the terminal block.
4. Replace the existing module in the terminal box
by the new one, see fig. 2.
For removal/fitting of the three screws shown,
use the screwdriver supplied with the module.
5. Replace the wiring diagram in the terminal box
cover by the diagram supplied with the module,
see fig. 3.
6. Connect possible signal wires and set the selec-
tor switch as shown in:
Fig. A (at the end of these instructions), if oper-
ating indication is to be activated.
Fig. B (at the end of these instructions), if fault
indication is to be activated.
Note: The selector switch must not be set
to alternating operation (used for twin-
head pumps).
7. Connect the external on/off switch as shown in
fig. A or B.
8. Connect the supply wires as shown in fig. A or
B.
9. Fit the terminal box cover.
10. Switch on the electricity supply. Check correct
connection by means of the indicator lights, see
the table in section 2. Indicator lights and signal
output .
3.2 Twin-head pumps
1. Switch off the electricity supply to the pump by
means of the external mains switch. The green
indicator light on the terminal box must be off.
2. Remove the terminal box cover.
3. If necessary, note the connection and position of
the selector switch.
4. Remove all wires from the terminal block.
5. Replace the existing module in the terminal box
by the new one, see fig. 2.
For removal/fitting of the three screws shown,
use the screwdriver supplied with the module.
6. Connect and set the relay module like the old
one or according to the Installation and Operat-
ing Instructions for the pump.
Fig. C (at the end of these instructions) shows
the electrical connection and setting to alternat-
ing operation.
7. Fit the terminal box cover.
8. Switch on the electricity supply. Check correct
connection by means of the indicator lights, see
the table in section 2. Indicator lights and signal
output .
