PRECAUTIONS ON USING DEM OLITION
HAM M ER
1. Wear ear protections
Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss.
2. Use auxiliary handles supplied w ith the tool.
Loss of control can cause personal injury.
3. Do not touch the bit during or im m ediately after
operation. The bit becomes very hot during operation
and could cause serious burns.
4. Before starting to break, chip or drill into a w all,
floor or ceiling, thoroughly confirm that such item s
as electric cables or conduits are not buried inside.

5. Even w hen the sw itch is on, the m otor is running
and the tool head is pressed to the dem olition
surface, the ham m er som etim es does not start
operating. In these instances, turn the sw itch off,
press the tool head against the dem olition surface
again, and turn the sw itch on and off. This should
start the dem olition ham m er operating. Repeat this
procedure for several m inutes, and the dem olition
ham m er w ill heat, after w hich it w ill operate w hen
sw itched to ON-LOCK.
