Before first Use
Clean all parts of the slicer before using the first time as described below under
"cleaning" on page 7.
Assembling the Slicer
To avoid injuries, to not touch the blade during
attaching, operating and on the assembled unit.
1. Place the frame plate (15) on a solid, level sur-
face.
2. Slide the collecting container (16) into the
container (15).
3. Choose one blade, e.g. die grater (C) and place
the grater on the frame plate (13). All blades have
a rib (9) that fit exactly into the rib guide (12) of the
frame plate (13).
4. Place the frame plate (13) with the blade on the
rail of the container (15). The rollers on the frame
plate enable easy moving it backwards and for-
wards.
5. Push the frame plate up to the bumper (14). Place
the lid (7) on the container. Observe that the
notches in the container fit into the pins of the lid.
6. Place the small pusher (1a) into the middle pus-
her (1b) and then both pusher into the big one
(1c).
The contact plate (3) can be use with the big pus-
her (1c) or directly on the filling chute (7). To
remove the contact plate (3), first press the
releasing pins (2) of the big pusher (1c) lightly
inwards (3) and then lift the contact plate up. Use
the contact plate directly on the filling chute of the
lid (7), (Fig. 1 and 2). The motor unit cannot be
switched on without the contact plate!
