Before first Use
Remove all packaging materials from the unit. Clean all parts with water and a
smooth detergent.
Using
1. Unlock the locking clips by folding down and remove the upper part. Take
out the aluminium egg tray.
2. Fill the bottom plastic part with tap water only up to the line. Place the egg
in the aluminium egg tray with the large ends down. Place the egg tray
with the egg on the bottom plastic part and put the lid over the egg tray.
Note! The egg boiler has to be closed very tightly; otherwise the eggs
may explode in the microwave. To close the lid tight, lift up both locking
clips.
3. Place the tightly closed egg boiler in the microwave.
Guidelines for microwave wattage of 600 W
5 Minutes for soft eggs - 7 minutes for hard boiled eggs
Guidelines for microwave wattage of 500 W
5.5 minutes for soft eggs - 8 minutes for hard boiled eggs
Do not touch the aluminium egg tray during operation, as this part
becomes very hot! Use oven mitts or pot cloths. Do not carry the micro-
wave egg boiler by the handle only. The egg boiler might open uninten-
tionally.
Hint: The aluminium parts of the microwave egg boiler might become
discoloured after using in the microwave. This is not a fault and there is
no cause for concern.
Cleaning
Allow the microwave egg boiler to cool down completely before cleaning
or storing it.
After each use, clean all parts with water and a smooth detergent to
prevent calc build-up and remove the residue left by the eggshells.
Dry all parts completely before the next use.
Wash all parts per hand and do not wash them in the dishwasher. Avoid
using metal items or sharp edges to avoid damaging the surfaces. Do not
use aggressive chemicals or abrasives or similar substances.
