Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, dam-
age or physical injury:
Make sure the power mains voltage corresponds to the operating voltage
labelled on the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised. Keep out of reach of children or
persons in need of supervision.
Only switch on the safety switch with the contact plate and turn the contact
plate to the side while filling in food or removing the content in order to avoid
accidentally switching on the appliance.
If the appliance stops due to improper operation or if there is excessive noise,
turn power off, wait for blades to stop, lift out the container and remove the
obstacle.
Do not use any attachments not recommended by Westfalia.
To avoid the risk of electrical shock or serious personal injury, always operate
with dry hands. Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid or
place it in the dishwasher.
The blades are extremely sharp. To avoid injuries, be always very careful
during attaching, operating, on the assembled appliance or while cleaning it.
Always operate your slicer on a flat, dry, stable surface. Never place the
appliance near or on hot surfaces. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Please switch OFF the appliance and unplug from the power supply before
cleaning, when not in use or removing the accessory.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get
caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not
bend it.
Only use the slicer for cooking applications. Please keep this appliance and
his accessories clean at all times as they come into direct contact with food.
Use the appliance for domestic purposes only and in the way indicated in
these instructions. The appliance is not designed for continuous, professional
use.
Should the appliance become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by
a professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disas-
semble the motor unit or try repairing it yourself.
