Place the food into the filling chute of the lid (7).

Place the motor unit (4) on the lid (7). The connecting holes (6) under the motor
unit fit exactly into the pins (6a) of the lid.

Plug the power plug in a suitable wall socket and press the contact plate (3) to
switch the safety switch (5) of the motor unit on.
10. Press with one hand the contact plate (3), as
shown in the picture and press with the other
hand the pusher lightly down.
Always place the pusher with the spiky side into
the filling chute so the small "spikes" can hook
into the foodstuff. Operate with even, light pres-
sure.
11. Never grasp with the hand in the filling chute
and do not place any other objects except of
the pusher into the chute.
Make sure not to overfill the collecting container
(16). Observe the marking on both sides of the
collecting container (16).
12. After work, unplug the power plug and remove the motor unit (4) from the
container (15).
13. Slide out the collecting container and empty the grated food.
