lack of attention to the surface or incorrect use
as a towing vehicle.

• In the event of a short circuit very high outputs
and currents can occur. These are dangerous, le-
thal and can cause fires. It is therefore extreme-

batteries are followed.
• Check the tightening torque of the connection
screws of the battery at least once a month. The
torque should be 11-14 Nm.

ENGLISH
• Work on the batteries must only be carried out
by authorised workshops.
• The battery contains acid. Acid may leak out in
the event of mechanical damage or overcharg-
ing.
• Never overcharge the batteries. Overcharging
can cause a battery to explode and disperse the
acid in all directions.
• Acid that comes into contact with eyes or skin
causes serious injury. If you come into contact
with acid, immediately rinse with water and
contact a doctor.
• If your eyes have come into contact with acid,
flush the eyes with cold water for at least 20
minutes, contact a doctor immediately and
wash the skin.
• Acid fumes that are inhaled can cause injury to
mucous membranes and other internal organs.
Contact a doctor if acid fumes have been in-
haled.
• Acid causes serious damage to tools, clothing
and other materials. In the event of acid spill-
age, rinse with plenty of water.
• Do not short circuit the battery's terminals.
Sparks occur which can result in fire. Do not
wear metal jewellery that can come into contact
with the battery terminals.
• In the event of damage to the battery, it should
be replaced.
• The battery contains toxic material. Do not
damage the battery casing. If the casing is dam-
