Operating conditions
• Check the strength of the roller
shutter and its fittings.
The roller shutter must be fitted
with:
- end stops screwed into the last
slat, fixed or removable stops
incorporated in the runners or an
end slat acting as an end stop (a),
- bolts or rigid links (b).
• Check that the motor used is suitable
for the size of roller shutter, to avoid
the risk of damaging the roller
shutter and/or the Somfy product.

bility of the motor with the roller
shutter and accessories, contact the
roller shutter manufacturer or Somfy.

Motor preparation
[1]. Fit the crown (a) and drive wheel (b) to the
motor.
[2]. Measure the length (L) between the drive
wheel (b) and the head end (c).
