Using
Handle the meter carefully. The microphone and the meter are
fragile and can be damaged if the instrument is dropped.
Do not expose the meter to strong magnetic fields or static
charges. This will affect the performance of the meter.
The meter automatically switches off after 10 – 15 minutes to
save the battery.
Cleaning and Storing
Only use a soft, lit free lightly moistened cloth to clean the
housing of digital sound level meter. Do not use aggressive
chemicals or abrasives and do not use liquids.
If you do not plan to use the unit for some time, remove the
battery.
Store the unit indoors in a place that is protected from moisture,
dust, dirt and extreme temperatures.
Store the unit out of reach of children.
Only use and store the meter within the temperature range stated
in the technical data. Higher or lower temperatures can have a
negative effect on the measuring accuracy and can lead to
mechanical damages.
