Checking air pressure in the
stored pressure tank
The stored pressure tank of the
Jungbrunnen 22-00 ULTIMATE is
equipped with a natural rubber
membrane that helps push out the
drinking water from the reservoir
during extraction.
In order to check the air pressure
in the stored pressure tank, and to
adjust it if needed, refer to the fol-
lowing images for assistance and
follow these steps:
Close the stopcock on the stored
pressure tank and remove the hose
from the stopcock.
Remove the stored pressure tank to
set the air pressure.
Unscrew the cap from the bottom of
the stored pressure tank. Located
beneath this is the valve for setting
the air pressure.
An air pump with a built-in mano-

meter or a compressor is ideal for
monitoring/setting the air pressu-
re in the stored pressure tank. It is
best to lay the tank on the foot on
its side. Set the air pump or com-
pressor onto the valve.
Pump the tank to a pressure of 0.3 -
0.5 bar. The air pressure in the tank
is now set.
The air pressure in the stored pres-
sure tank should be checked or re-
set, when empty, every 2 - 3 years.
Set the stored pressure tank back
in its place, and reinsert the plastic
hose into the stopcock of the stored
pressure tank and open the stop-
cock on the stored pressure tank.
Disinfecting the faucet
The faucet must be cleaned regular-
ly so that bacteria do not build up
inside it. We recommend disinfec-
ting the faucet every 2 months. Use
these images for assistance when
disinfecting the faucet, and follow
these steps:
