Maintaining the BestWater System

Remove the old 20 µm pre-filter
cartridge and insert a new 20 µm
pre-filter cartridge. Turn the cart-
ridge finger-tight into the right filter
head.
Once the 20 µm pre-filter has been
replaced you can reattach the front
hatch to the BestWater system.
Finally, you must disinfect the unit.
Close the stopcock on the stored
pressure tank.

Remove the hose from the stopcock
of the stored pressure tank.
Set the disinfection module onto the
stopcock of the stored pressure tank
and connect it to the BestWater sys-
tem so that the purified water can
flow through the disinfection modu-
le into the tank. The disinfection
module itself has no specific
flow direction and its shape may
differ from the image.
You can now turn on the flow of wa-
ter to the appliance.
Wait about 5 minutes, until the pre-
filters have filled with water and
been rinsed. Open the stopcock on
the reservoir tank.
The system is now producing pu-
rified water that flows through the
disinfection module and dissolves
the hydrogen peroxide (H O ) within

the disinfection module. When drai-
ning later, the disinfectant will disin-
fect all hoses that the purified water
passes through.
After approx. 40 min. you must
drain all of the water through the
faucet. Wait long enough that the
water starts to trickle slowly out of
the faucet.
Maintaining the BestWater System
Now you can remove the disinfec-
tion module. While removing it, pu-
rified water that is currently being
processed may pour out.
Insert the plastic hose back into the
stopcock of the pressure tank.
Fill the reservoir again and let the
water drain through the faucet one
more time.
Your semiannual filter change is now
complete and you can operate the
unit normally again.
Annual filter replacement
The pre- and post-filter units of the
Jungbrunnen 22-00 ULTIMATE must
be replaced every 12 months. Use
these images to help you with the
annual filter change, and follow the-
se steps:
