9.2 Directives and test standards

We declare with sole responsibility that the product to which this declaration relates conforms with the EU directives
stated below.
Note: EU pattern approval has been obtained for certified scales. The year of first certification is shown adjacent to the
CE marking. Such scales are certified at the factory and bear the mark «M» on the instrument itself and on the packaging.
If the letter M appears on a solid ground, the scale may be used immediately. If the ground is broken and hatched,
the scale must be certified locally at the place of use by the certified METTLER TOLEDO Service. If the national regulations
of individual countries limit the period of validity of the certification, the operator of such a scale is responsible for its
timely recertification.
