Proceed through the following steps before connecting volume control R4 to the MCR-4250:
1. Set the Level controls on the front panel of the MCR-4250 to position "0 dB".
2. Connect VCA volume controls R4 to the VCA network connector ZONE1 of the MCR-4250. Upon
proper connection, the Linked LEDs of the level control R4 will light up.
3. Slide the switch REMOTE ON/OFF on the front panel of the MCR-4250 to position ON. The indicator
above lights up, indicating that the remote controls are now active.
