7.6 VCA remote controls
Proceed through the following steps before connecting volume control R1 to the MCR-4250:
1. Set the Level controls on the front panel of the MCR-4250 to position "0 dB".
2. Connect four VCA volume controls R1 to the VCA network connectors of the MCR-4250. Upon
proper connection, the Linked LEDs of the level controls R1 will light up.
3. Slide the switch REMOTE ON/OFF on the front panel of the MCR-4250 to position ON. The indicator
above lights up, indicating that the remote controls are now active.
4. The level controls R1 can also be daisy-chained to the MCR-4250. In this case, use the jumpers in
the level controls to determine which zone is to be controlled.
