a) Base station
Proceed as described in chapter 9. a).

In the case of a change of battery all data of the base station get lost:
Normally the base station should display the measuring data of the exterior unit after some
minutes (switch to outdoor temperature display with the "IN/OUT TEMP/SEARCH" (D) button).
If this is not the case, open the battery compartment of the exterior unit and press the "TX"
button that can be found between the two batteries. Use, eg a toothpick to actuate the button.
b) exterior unit
Proceed as described in chapter 9. b).
Directly after inserting the batteries, the exterior unit will send a data packet, this is why the
base station should instantly recognize the exterior unit (if applicable, switch over to the dis-
play of the outdoor temperature with the "IN/OUT TEMP/SEARCH" (D) button.
If this is not the case, press the "TX" button that can be found between the two batteries in the
battery compartment of the exterior unit. Use, eg a toothpick to actuate the button.
The base station will emit a short tone signal when the first data packet is received.
