c) displaying time/date/amount of rain

By pressing the "MODE/RAIN SETTING" (A) button briefly several times you can toggle between
the following information:

Time
–
Date
–
Total amount of rain (display "RAINFALL TOTAL")
This is the total amount since the device was taken into operation or since a reset (see chap-
ter 10. d) or the change of batteries.
–
Rain amount in the last hour (display "RAINFALL 1H")
The display is calculated and updated about every 10 minutes.
–
Rain amount in the last 24 hour (display "RAINFALL 24H")
The display is calculated and updated about every hour.
–
Present status of last rainfall (display "RAINFALL
rained within the last 30 minutes)
The display of the value remains visible, until there was no rain for 30 minutes. Afterwards
the value is automatically set to "0".
If you press the "2SINCE" (B) button briefly several times during the display of the
amount of rain, the respective time and date will be displayed in the top area of the LC
display (not the case for "RAINFALL 1H").
This is the beginning of the period for which the rain amount value displayed is valid.
When you have selected the display of the total amount of rain "RAINFALL TOTAL"with,
e.g. the "MODE/RAIN SETTING" (A) button, the time, date and year for which the
amount of rain is valid will be shown consecutively by pressing the "2SINCE" (B) but-
ton several times.

d) deleting total amount of rain

First of all you select the display total amount of rain (display "RAINFALL TOTAL") by briefly
pressing the "MODE/RAIN SETTING" (A) button several times.
Press the "MODE/RAIN SETTING" (A) button for about 3 seconds until a short tone signal is
emitted. The total amount of rain is reset to "0".
The amount of rain for the last hour, the last 24 hours and the display of the present
status cannot be deleted here. These are each automatically calculated and renewed
for the lapsed period.
Please note section f) for deleting the entire rain data of the radio-controlled rain gau-
ge.
