1. Caractéristiques
• La commutation des appareils USB et leur affectation aux différents PC est possi-
ble par le biais du logiciel ou manuellement.
• Fonction de commutation en croix : il n'est pas nécessaire d'affecter tous les
appareils USB à un seul PC (comme dans le cas d'un sélecteur USB "normal"). Il
est p. ex. possible d'affecter à un PC deux des appareils USB raccordés, et les
deux autres à un deuxième PC.
• Mode Self-Powered (auto-alimenté) via le bloc-secteur fourni (le mode Bus Powe-
red sans bloc-secteur n'est pas possible !)
• 4 ports USB High-Power (500mA par port), USB1.1
• Mode Full-Speed (12 MBit) et mode Low-Speed (1.5 MBit)
• Possibilité de raccorder 4 PC

None of the components inside the product are to be maintained by
the user.
Live components may be exposed when covers are opened or com-
ponents are removed.
Before cleaning, maintenance or servicing work is carried out, the
device must be disconnected from all voltage sources. Disconnect the

plug-in power pack from the mains socket-outlet and unplug all devi-
ces connected to the USB switch box.
Capacitors in the device may still be charged, even if the device has
been disconnected from all voltage sources.
Repair work must always be carried out by suitably qualified person-
nel, who are familiar with the hazards involved and with the relevant
regulations.
To clean this product a dry, lint-free cloth will suffice.
If it is quite dirty, a cloth moistened slightly with lukewarm water and a very small
amount of weak detergent may be used.
9. Disposal
Once the product becomes unusable, dispose of it in accordance with the relevant
statutory regulations.
10. Hints and tips
• If USB devices are unplugged and plugged in again fairly frequently (e.g. if the
computer has to be transported repeatedly), the USB devices should always be
plugged into the same USB port. This will avoid the need for repeated recognition
by the hardware.
• The length of the USB cables is critical. Therefore problems may occur, if USB
extension cables are used. Perform tests to shorten the length of cables.
So-called "repeater-cables" are available for lengths exceeding approx. 5m.
• The USB switch box does not have a "bus-powered" mode.
