Setting the Expotential Function
Turn the transmitter on. The operating status appears on the transmitter's display. Now
press the selection button "SEL" 4 times (see main manual, ill. 1, pos. 4).
The display shows "EXP" and the channel 1 for the steering
is displayed on the top right ("CH 1"). If a value for the expo-
tential function is already set, the corresponding value
appears on the display in %.
With the two adjuster buttons (see main manual, ill. 1, pos. 6),
you can now set a value up to 100% for the steering servo.
The set value always has an effect on both servo running
directions.
If "EXP" appears on the display, the expotential function is
turned off and the servo reacts linear to the control com-
mands of the transmitter. If required, you can switch to chan-
nel 2 (driving function) afterwards with the channel switcher
(see main manual, ill. 1, pos. 5) and set the desired value.
The last set value is always saved automatically.
Then you have to check the set value in a test drive. If necessary, change the expotenti-
al settings until the driving behaviour of your model meets your demands.
Notice!
Due to the fact that the expotential function was additionally inserted in the
setup menu of the remote control, the menu button "SEL" must be pressed
once more than described in the main manual to call up the subsequent ABS
function or to enter the model memory name (see main manual, ill. 1, pos. 4).

Setting the ABS Function

With the ABS function, you can optimise the braking behaviour of your model car with
an electronic drive control. The braking function is pulsed electronically to avoid a
locking of the driven wheels. This prevents oversteering and understeering especially
when the model car drives through a curve. You can set the ABS function as follows:
Switch on the transmitter. The operating display is shown
inthe transmitter's LC display. Press the SEL menu selection
button five times (see illustration 01, no. 4). On the left side
of the display, you see the letters ABS (= anti-lock braking
system), and the upper right corner shows that this applies
to channel 1 (CH 1) for steering. Using the Switch channel
buttons (see illustration 01, no. 5), you can now switch to

Les deux touches de réglage (voir mode d'emploi principal,
illustration 1, pos. 6) vous permettent désormais de régler

une valeur de jusqu'à 100 % pour le servo de direction.
La valeur réglée influence toujours les deux côtés du sens
de marche du servo.
Si l'écran affiche "EXP", la fonction expotentielle est éteinte

et le servo réagit de manière linéaire aux commandes de l'é-
metteur. Si nécessaire, vous pouvez ensuite commuter à

l'aide de la touche de commutation des canaux (voir mode
d'emploi principal, illustration 1, pos. 5) sur canal 2 (fonction
de conduite) et régler la valeur désirée.

La valeur réglée doit être vérifiée ensuite dans un essai. Si nécessaire, modifiez le régla-
ge expotentiel jusqu'à ce que le comportement de conduite de votre modèle corre-
sponde à vos idées.
Réglage de la fonction ABS
La fonction ABS vous permet d'optimiser le comportement de freinage de votre modèle
réduit de voiture avec régulateur de vitesse électronique. Pour cela, il y a cadencement
électronique de la fonction de freinage afin d'éviter un blocage des roues entraînées.
Cela permet d'éviter un sur-virage ou un sous-virage, tout particulièrement en cas de
conduite en virage. Vous pouvez régler la fonction ABS comme suit :

La butée maximale correspondante du servo qui a été réglée à l'aide du EPA,
n'est pas influencée dans ces deux cas !
Remarque !
Comme la fonction expotentielle a été incorporée de manière supplémentai-
re dans le menu de réglage de la télécommande, il est nécessaire d'appuyer
une fois plus sur la touche de séléction de menu "SEL" (voir mode d'emploi
principal, illustration 1, pos. 4) que le mode d'emploi principal indique pour
appeler la fonction suivante ABS ou pour entrer le nom mémoire du modèle.
