d) Checking the rotor blade fastening
Take the helicopter into your hand and tilt it to the side by
90°. The rotor shaft must be aligned horizontally or paral-
lel to the floor.
The rotor blade holding screws (1) may only be tightened
to the degree that the rotor blades (2) can be folded down
to the bottom with the own weight.
Important:
Do not loosen the rotor blade screws too much, otherwise
the rotor blades will not run at the same height during
flight.

e) Checking the tail rotor

The tail rotor (1) is powered by its own electrical motor. It
is important here that the cogwheels of the motor (2) and
the tail rotor (3) safely interlock and still run smoothly.
After the loosening of the two holding screws (4) the tail
rotor motor can be moved to the side to set the cog flank
play.
The cog flank play can be set to the ideal measure with a
small strip of paper that is stuck between both cogwheels.
Also see the chapter "Setting the tooth profile clearance
on the main rotor drive".

f) Inserting the flight battery

The flight battery (1) is inserted into the battery holder (2)
from the rear and slid forward all the way (for better
visualisation, the hood was removed in ill. 8).
Important:
Once you have inserted the accumulator for the first time,
check the correct center of gravity afterwards.
