c) Filling and operation

Always pull the mains plug before filling the fog machine.
Never fill the fog machine with flammable liquids, paint, etc. or add such to the fog liquid. Only
ever use suitable water-based fog liquids (the CONRAD range features suitable fog liquids).
Never tilt the fog machine. Fog liquid may leak out or enter the inside of the device and cause
damage there or injure the operator.
Make sure that no liquid enters the inside of the device when you are filling it with fog liquid.
This may cause damage to the device and potentially fatal electrical shock.
Never operate the fog machine without fog liquid. The fog machine will be damaged if operated
without fog liquid.
Always observe the safety notes of the fog liquid used.
• Ensure that the mains plug is not plugged in.
• Unscrew the tank cover from the device and fill fog liquid into the tank.
The tank can be taken out of the fog machine for filling and emptying the fog liquid.
• Plug the hose of the tank closure lid into the tank and screw on the tank closure lid again.
• Plug the mains plug into a mains socket with a protective ground contact.
• Switch on the device with the mains switch (1). With the device on, the mains switch lights up and the
fog machine heats up (display: "Warming Up).
• Heating up takes approx. 5 minutes from the cold condition.
• When the device has reached its operating temperature, the display shows "Ready To Fog". The device
is now ready to fog.
Selection of the menu parameters/FUNCTION button
The FUNCTION (3) button can be used to select the values for Man Vol Out, Interval Set, Duration Set and
Volume Out in the menu. The values can be set so that the settings are retained permanently or only until
the power is deactivated.
Permanent storage of the settings: Use the FUNCTION (3) button to selected the desired menu item. Set
the desired value. Push the FUNCTION (3) button until the display (9) shows "Warming Up" or "Ready To
Fog" again. The setting is assumed permanently and is retained even if the fog machine is switched off.
Temporary storage of the settings: Use the FUNCTION (3) button to selected the desired menu item. Set the
desired value. After a brief time, the display will return to "Warming Up" or "Ready To Fog". The setting
is accepted. However, the setting will be lost if the fog machine is switched off by the mains switch (1).
