10. Operation

Always pull the mains plug before filling the tank.
Never fill the tank with flammable liquids or add such to the fluid. Use only suitable oil-based
fog liquids (for suitable fluids, see online on the product page under „Accessories").
Never tilt the device. Liquids may leak out or enter the inside of the device and cause damage
there or injure the operator.
Make sure that no fluid enters the inside of the device when you are filling it with fog liquid. This
may cause damage to the device and potentially fatal electrical shock.
DMX operation always takes precedence over operation with the wire-bound remote control.
Once a DMX signal is pending, wire-bound remote control is deactivated.
Before switching off the device again, stop the fog emission and wait for approx. 10 seconds
before the device has completed the automatic nozzle cleaning process.
Ensure that the tank never runs empty during fog operation. Should this happen nevertheless,
turn the device off immediately using the mains switch (6) (put the switch in the position O) and
let it cool down.
If no fog emerges, the device is still warming up or reheating (the red LED above the DIP
switches (1) is lit).
Only top up the tank after the device is cooled off. The fill level of the tanks is evident from tank
fill level display on the rear of the device.
Slight fog lag after deactivation/disconnection of a device is normal and does not suggest a
defect.
If you no longer require the device, disconnect the mains plug and let the device cool down.
Then empty the tank. This prevents leaking of liquid during transport or storage.
a) Commissioning
• Ensure that the mains plug is not plugged in.
• Unscrew the tank cover from the device and fill fog liquid into the tank. The fill level of the tanks is evident
from tank fill level display on the rear of the device.
• Then screw on the tank closure lid again.
• There is an adjustable air guide sheet (13) at the fog exit that influences the ejection direction of the fog.
Adjust the air guide sheet (13) as desired after loosening the lateral knurled screw (14). Then tighten the
knurled screw (14) again.
• Plug the mains plug into a mains socket with a protective ground contact.
• Switch on the device with the mains switch (6) under the mains connection (5) (put the switch in the I
position). The device heats up.
• Heating up takes approx. 2-3 minutes. After heating up is completed, the red LED above the DIP
switches (1) will go out and the device is ready for operation.
