3. Symbols

Hazard warnings and signs are clearly marked in the Operating Instructions. The following sym-
bols are used:
The symbol with the exclamation mark inside the triangle indicates particular
hazards during handling, operation or control.
The symbol with lightning inside the triangle is used to indicate a health haz-
ard, e.g. by electric shock.
This symbol denotes information provided to improve understanding of the
procedures.

4. Safety instructions

The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage occurs due to failing to
comply with the Operating Instructions! We will not assume any responsi-
bility for consequential damage!
We do not assume liability for damage to property or physical injury
caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions! In
such cases the guarantee/warranty will be void.
General safety instructions
• For reasons of safety and approval (CE), the product must not be converted
and/or modifi ed without authorisation.
• The power pack and the product may only be operated in dry, indoor areas
(not in the bathroom). The product must never become damp or wet, this
poses the risk of a fatal electric shock!
• The product is not a toy, it is not suitable for children. Children cannot judge
the dangers involved when handling electrical devices.
• Do not leave any packaging material unattended. It may become a dangerous
toy for children.
