3. Intended use

The weather station is used to display various measuring values e.g. inside/outside temperature, inside/outside air
humidity and air pressure.
The outdoor sensor contained in the delivery sends its measuring values wireless via radio to the weather station.
In addition, the weather station calculates a weather forecast by means of the internal air pressure sensor and the
recording of the air pressure changes and then shows this forecast as symbols in the display.
The weather station has an inbuilt radio controlled clock which does not only receive the exact time of the day via
the DCF time signals but also the date. Hence, switching from summer to winter time is done automatically.
The coloured display of the weather station may also be used as digital picture frame. For this function the weather
station has an inbuilt SD/MMC memory card reader and a USB port for a USB stick.


The weather forecasts of the weather station should only be considered as assessment values. They do not
constitute an absolutely exact forecast. The manufacturer does not assume any liability for incorrect displays,
measuring values or weather forecasts and the resulting consequences.
The product is intended for private use; it is not suitable for medical purposes or for public information.
The components of this product are not toys; they contain fragile or swallowable small parts and glass components;
furthermore, the product contains batteries. The product has no place in the hands of children!
Operate all components so that they cannot be reached by children.
The weather station is operated via a wall plug transformer enclosed; the outdoor sensor and the IR remote control
are operated by batteries.
Any use other than described above may lead to damage of the product; furthermore, other risks may arise.
Read this operating manual entirely and carefully; it contains important information on setup, operation and handling.
