e) Installing the nose gear servo

Determine the ideal position for the servo, mark the wooden blocks (1) of the
servo attachment and glue them on. When the glue has hardened, install the
servo.
Use the screw to put the link lever (2) in a 90-degree angle to the rolling direction
of the wheels. Make sure that the fastening screw for the landing gear is screwed
tight; see figure 6 A, position 3.
Install the clevis at the link lever of the nose gear. Cut the linkage to length (the
link lever being at a 90-degree angle to the wheels) leaving an excess length of
10 mm. Bend the linkage to form a "Z" and hook it up to the servo arm (4).
Important: The distance between the pivot of the servo arm and the linkage
hook-up point must be approx. 10 mm; see figure 6 B.
To mount the landing gear later on, carefully turn the servo arm to the left by
hand; see figure 6 C.
Extend the servo connection cable using a suitable pre-assembled cable. Secure
the plug connection with a piece of adhesive tape.
f) Installing the nose gear in the fuselage
The counterpart of the attachment plate of the nose gear has already been
glued into fuselage. Carefully push the nose gear into the guide (1). Secure the
nose gear using the 8 x 2 mm screw (2).
As the landing gear in its current position (3) would block itself and the servo
would hit the end point when the remote control is switched on, carefully screw
back the servo arm to neutral position using a screw driver.
